Appliance Rebate Program
The Government funded Energy Star Appliance Rebate Program has already begun, which will allow Americans to receive rebates up to 20% off when purchasing household appliances. The Appliance Rebate program is an effort to stimulate the economy while helping the environment. Specifically, the federal program is for purchase of only new appliances such as central air conditioners, room air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, furnaces, washers, dishwashers, freezers, refrigerators, and water heaters. Only energy-efficient approved appliances are approved.
Be careful though. Each state’s program differs in that some appliance rebate programs start sooner than others, some offer less for rebates, and each program has different restrictions.
